sweet madness...

I have walked away countless time, cursing the day we met yet singing it's praises in the same breath. I have tried to let you go, tried to forget you to no avail. I found freedom from this sweet and beautiful agony only to be overcome by something hidden in plain site, hidden inside. Blue eyes captivate me as well as hold me captive. For now, as before, I cannot have what I seek yet I still remain here, waiting, hoping. Is it a certain cruelness for the the heart, soul and mind to be placed under such conditions? To have what you seek at your fingertips, daily communion, but in the end only dreams allow embrace. I have chose this path and it is I who makes the choice to stay the course.
